A referral website
Adelaide Hot Water Solutions is a referral website. We do not carry out hot water work ourselves. When you contact us, we pass your enquiry to an independent local contractor, who quotes and, if you agree, carries out the work. The contractor is responsible for their work, their quote, their licences, their insurance and any warranty they give.
Licences and insurance
In South Australia, plumbing and gas fitting work must be done by appropriately licensed people. We ask the contractors we work with to hold the licences and insurance the job needs. You should ask to see them before work starts, and you can check a licence through Consumer and Business Services.
General information only
The content on this website, including descriptions of hot water systems, South Australian water heater requirements, incentive programs, running costs and price ranges, is general information. It is not professional advice for your circumstances. Requirements and programs change, and the right system for your home depends on an inspection.
Prices
Any prices shown are planning ranges only. They are not quotes and are not offers from any contractor. Your actual price will be set out in a written quote from the contractor after they assess the job.
Photography
Photos on this site are stock images showing hot water in everyday use. They do not show specific customers' homes or specific jobs.
Rules, rebates and running costs
Where this site mentions South Australia's water heater requirements, federal small-scale technology certificates or the state's Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme, it does so in general terms. Eligibility, conditions and values change, and they can differ from one home to the next. Confirm the current position with the agency named, and with your contractor, before you rely on it. Running-cost comparisons are general patterns, not predictions for your bills.
