What we do
Adelaide Hot Water Solutions is a referral website. When you call (08) 7100 9072, we pass your details to an independent local contractor who carries out hot water system repairs, replacements and installations in your area. That contractor looks at the job, gives you a written quote and, if you choose to go ahead, does the work. We do not carry out the work ourselves, and we do not employ the people who do.
We cover greater Adelaide, with local pages and phone lines for Glenelg, Modbury, Salisbury and Mount Barker. Lines are open Monday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Why we built this site
Hot water tends to become urgent without warning, and the decisions that follow are not always simple. In South Australia there is an extra layer: the state's water heater requirements mean that a failed electric tank often cannot be replaced with the same again. We wanted a site that explains those choices clearly — gas, electric, heat pump or solar, repair or replace — so that by the time a contractor arrives you already know the right questions to ask.
What you can expect
- A free quote. The contractor's quote costs you nothing and you are under no obligation.
- A written price. Ask for the unit, the valves, any extra work and the removal of the old unit to be itemised.
- Licensed work. In South Australia, plumbing and gas fitting must be done by people licensed for that work. We ask the contractors we work with to hold the licences and insurance the job needs — ask to see them before work starts.
- Paperwork at the end. Ask for the certificate of compliance and the warranty details when the job is done.
What we will not do
We will not publish reviews we cannot verify, claim credentials we do not hold, or pressure you into a decision. If the contractor's quote does not suit you, you are free to look elsewhere.
